16 Times More YouTube Views, Without SEO or Promotions: a case of Zloy Kot
Zloy Kot, a YouTube channel with 140K subscribers, experienced explosive growth after implementing strategic content changes. For six years, the channel's videos averaged around 30,000 views, with only occasional spikes surpassing 50,000 or 100,000 views. However, in just two months, the channel released three videos that dramatically outperformed previous content.
The first video, exploring a massive satellite dish once used to deorbit the ISS Mir, garnered 69,700 views in the first week and has since reached 821,000 views.
The second video, featuring an exploration of an abandoned Soviet-era hotel, skyrocketed to 287,400 views in the first week and now boasts 2.7 million views.
The third video, another adventure in a deserted hotel, initially attracted 532,700 views (16 times the usual amount) in seven days and has now amassed 2.9 million views.
The secret? No SEO or paid promotions were involved. Instead, Vik Ingram focused on improving video titles, thumbnails, and content structure, helping the channel grow from 56,000 to over 200,000 subscribers in just three months (December 2022 to the end of February 2023). The channel set a new record of 275,000 views in a single day, showcasing the power of organic reach when paired with strategic content adjustments.
